CANCER SCREENING

Female Dog Walker

At Evergreen Veterinary Clinic, we believe that early detection is the key to giving your beloved pet the best possible chance at a healthy, long life. That’s why we offer a cutting-edge cancer screening blood test, designed specifically to detect lymphoma, the most common type of cancer found in dogs. Through a simple and non-invasive blood test, our veterinary team can not only detect the presence of lymphoma but also determine its phenotype—allowing for a more targeted and effective treatment plan, should it be needed.

We strongly recommend that all dogs age 7 and older undergo annual cancer screenings as part of their wellness care. For high-risk breeds, earlier screening is critical. Breeds such as Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, Beagles, Bernese Mountain Dogs, Boxers, Bull Mastiffs, Dobermans, English Bulldogs, Flat-Coated Retrievers, French Bulldogs, Miniature Schnauzers, Rottweilers, and Scottish Terriers are more prone to developing lymphoma and should begin annual screenings at age 4.

Early detection can make all the difference. With our advanced screening process, you can stay ahead of potential health concerns and give your pet the proactive care they deserve. Schedule your dog's cancer screening today and partner with Evergreen Veterinary Clinic in protecting your pet’s health—every step of the way.
